Welcome to the Municipal Demonstration page.  Here, you will see how the site would work as a "white-label" add on to your existing municipal site, or, simply as a referred site from your website. 

This starting map is of an abandoned city, Centralia, Pennsylvania.   We have invented a few representative projects to demonstrate how they appear on a map, and if clicked, how they appear to viewers.

The residents of your municipality need to know the status, scale and scope of the projects in their town. And we know that the municipality does not always have the resources to enter, manage and maintain the data. Building Neighbours is designed to enable and ensure that the builder or proponent enter the data themselves. And, we use the municipal reference number to be clickable directly from your municipal planning department site, with the simple addition of a URL linking the sites. The transition can be made invisible (in stealth mode) or open.

Building Neighbours is best viewed using Firefox and (oddly enough) Internet Explorer.  We use Googlefonts which do not render well in Chrome or Opera.
